Schatz on Blacktop

Schatz had a great retrieve out of a cornfield on this warm October day. I lined up on a big rooster with my Stevens side by side, and let the high brass fly. Mendota's Skid Plate™ made her easier to see and also protected her deep barrel chest from barb wire and whatever else she ran into that day. We used Rehydrate™ Tablets, and they helped keep her energy level up, and her recovery time seemed to decrease. I always watch my dogs closely in hot weather- as much as they love to hunt sometimes I have to give them a good rest!
